The Origin
Where it
started.
Every tactics board we tried said the same things without meaning them. The zones were wrong. The proportions were off. When you pointed to the “half-space” on the board, it didn’t look anything like the half-space on the pitch. Players nodded — but they weren’t seeing what we were seeing.
The board should show what the pitch actually looks like.
Not an approximation of it.
That gap — between what a coach draws and what a player sees on the pitch — is where player development gets lost. Concepts stay abstract. Language stays disconnected. Players react to instructions instead of reading the game for themselves.

The board came out of a simple frustration: pointing to a zone on a tactics board and knowing your players weren’t seeing what you were seeing. The proportions were wrong. The zones were approximate. The connection to the real pitch was missing.
